Passing Matilda On

In Service of Operation Exodus
I'm selling Matilda. She is a 1981 Bangor Punta Cal-31, and she has been my home for the last year or so. I found her on Facebook Marketplace for 4k when I needed a place to put my life back together after crashing out, and she served that purpose well. I moved aboard, rebuilt from her cabin, and got myself standing again. That chapter is finished. I have come to realize that I have no place here, and I want to start over completely, so she sells to sail with someone else.

I am leaving nearly everything with her. One paddleboard. Two kayaks. A microwave, a coffee maker, a large Hisense air conditioner, and a tower space heater to complement the FCF system currently installed. Hatch covers, all of the miscellaneous storage containers, and all of the tools and related items I picked up before my plans changed. Everything aboard stays aboard.
She sells as is. The diesel started fine the last time I tried it, but she will need a new sail track and some work before she can be called truly serviceable again. I am asking 4k, which is just what it will cost me to get the rest of my affairs in order so I can leave the States altogether. I am incredibly motivated to sell, so I will consider all serious offers.
The details of where I am headed live on the Operation Exodus page, and my motives are laid bare in Discordia.

I love this boat. I love the idea of a complete fresh start more, so I am taking it. My hope is that Matilda passes to someone she can serve as well as she served me.
May we all find peace
